It started ok, polls open, lines short, voted and went to work. Came home from work, turned on Fox News and the bad new starting rolling in, first they couldn't call Indiana for McCain, we needed that, then we lost PA, FL to close to call, at that point it was all but over, losing Ohio was the end. Being a poor sport I didn't even stay up to watch Senator Obamas speech. Got up this morning fired 20% of my employees, canceled medical insurance for the rest, rescinded all of my charitable givings and called Santa Claus and told him he was fat. Saw my oldest daughter (who had worked at the late, great Annona).<BR/><BR/>I was too wired (coffee coffee coffee not enough beer) to watch the returns (I like NBC coverage but cannot stand another sentence or stupid book by Tom Mumblemouth - will he ever actually retire?)<BR/><BR/>Watched the excellent POOTIE TANG, written and directed by the funniest fucker in hollyweird, Louis C.K., and then turned back to NBC as Holly Saint Obama won.<BR/><BR/>My dog seemed unimpressed.<BR/><BR/>My oldest daughter (x Annona employee) called from the Obama Party at the Hyatt and asked, "NOW are you finally HAPPY ?").<BR/><BR/>I voted for Barack but there were African American drummers on the TV. I have worked with quite a few African American and African drummers. The problem is they never stop drumming when we are trying to talk.
